At this very special once-a-year event, our Curtain Productions community comes together to celebrate our achievements. The 2009 event will be held....
Friday, July 17th Historic Highlands United Methodist Church Auditorium 3131 Osceola Street in North Denver 6:30 pm This year we are having a Luau!
The evening will include: Reception Hour Dinner Awards Ceremony
Tickets are on sale now. Seating is limited to the first 100 people, with priority given to current Curtain Production Artists and their families. Dress for the event is Beachwear. Nominations for the awards will close July 8th.

Rising Curtain
Best Company Performer of the Year- under 13 - this award goes to the best performance by a
male or female ensemble or "chorus" performer under the age of 13.
Best Male Company Performer of the Year- age 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by
a male ensemble or "chorus" performer between the ages of 13-19.
Best Female Company Performer of the Year- age 13-19 - this award goes to the best
performance by a female ensemble or "chorus" performer between the ages of 13-19.
Best Actor or Actress in a Supporting Role-under 13 - this award goes to the best performance by a
male or female supporting performer under the age of 13.
Best Actor in a Supporting Role- age 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by a male
supporting performer between the ages of 13-19.
Best Actress in a Supporting Role- age 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by a female
supporting performer between the ages of 13-19.
Best Actor or Actress in a Leading Role- under 13 - this award goes to the best performance by a
male performer in a lead role under the age of 13.
Best Actor in a Leading Role- age 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by a male or
female performer in a lead role between the ages of 13-19.
Best Actress in a Leading Role- age 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by a female
performer in a lead role between the ages of age 13-19.
Best Performance by an Adult- Male- this award goes to the best performance by an adult male
Best Performance by an Adult- Female- this award goes to the best performance by an adult female.
Production of the Year- all ages - this award is to the cast & crew of the best show of the year.
Outstanding Youth Singer - under 13 - this award goes to the best performance by a
singer under the age of 13.
Outstanding Teen Singer - ages 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by a
singer between the ages of age 13-19.
Outstanding Youth Dancer - under 13 - this award goes to the best performance by a
dancer under the age of 13.
Outstanding Teen Dancer - ages 13-19 - this award goes to the best performance by a
dancer between the ages of age 13-19.
Director of The Year - This award goes to the best director of the year.
Rising Curtain and Curtains Up
Spirit of the Artist- all ages- this award is designed to reward a performer or crew member- OF
ANY AGE- in the Curtain Productions Community who best embodied the spirit of the
theatre arts. This could be the most improved, someone who devoted themselves fully to
a role or to the Company, but should be someone who really shines as a true theatre artist.
Best Costumes of the Year- this award goes to the costumer who achieved the greatest success
costuming for a particular production.
Curtains Up
Best Lead Actor - this award goes to the best performance by an actor in a lead role.
Best Lead Actress - this award goes to the best performance by an actress in a lead role.
Best Supporting Actor - this award goes to the best performance by an actor in a supporting role.
Best Supporting Actress - this award goes to the best performance by an actress in a supporting role.
Best Ensemble Performer - Male - this award goes to the best performance by an actor in the
ensemble of a production.
Best Ensemble Performer - Female - this award goes to the best performance by an actress in the
ensemble of a production.
Director of The Year - This award goes to the best director of the year.
Production of the Year- this award is to the cast & crew of the best show of the year.
